  • Overview: High-level data related to your account. See Overview tab.

  • Visits: Data related to your visits and customers. See Visits tab.

  • Guest experience: Insights on your guests and customers' interaction with your business. See Guest experience tab.

  • Messages: Information related to your incoming and outgoing messages, the channels you have used, to both guests and staff members. See Messages tab.

  • Operations: Analytics related to your business operations. This is a great place to start when comparing performance between different locations, location groupings, users, or resources. See Operations tab.

  • Services: Data related to the services that you offer. This is a great place to start when comparing performance across different services. See Services tab.

  • Input fields: Data related to the data collected via your custom input fields. See Input fields tab.

Note: Depending on your plan type, your access to Analytics will differ.

  • Free plan: No access to Analytics.

  • Starter plan: Access to the Overview tab, ability to view data 90 days back.

  • Business plan: Access to all tabs, ability to view data 365 days back.

  • Enterprise plan: Access to all tabs, ability to view data 3 years back.

For each tab, you will find several relevant charts and high-level metrics related to the respective area. Every chart has a clickable title that will open up a more detailed sub-page for that particular data where you can download a CSV with all the data from the chosen time period.

Further down on the page, you'll also see all the data in table format, rather than in a chart.

Configuration

We've made it easy for you to configure and customize your experience in Waitwhile Analytics, using the date picker and our thorough filter options.

Date picker

The date picker allows you to choose the time range for the data you want displayed. Please note that the default value for this is "Last 7 days". The data accessible in Analytics includes all activities through midnight, the day prior.

Filters

Extensive filtering functionality lets you decide which data you want displayed. To access the filtering options in Analytics, click Filter (next to the Date picker) and a panel will appear.

Available filtering options include:

  • Locations: Select the locations you want included in your charts. When searching for locations to include, you are able to filter the search based on your location labels. For more information on how to work with and leverage labels, see Managing labels.

  • Visit source: Show visits originated from only selected visit sources, e.g. the web app, the native iOS and Android apps, or your customer facing pages. For a complete description of all different visit sources, see this article about registration sources.

  • Resources: If you want to see data related to only a certain resource, or a group of them, you can quickly search for and select the specific resources you want to look at. The list of resources is grouped by resource category, for ease of use.

  • Services: Similarly, if you want to see data related to a certain service, or a group of them, you can quickly search for and select the specific services you want to look at. The list of services is grouped by service category, for ease of use.

  • Deleted visits: The option to include deleted visits in your data is toggled off by default. But if you do want to include any previously deleted visits in your analytics, you can choose to do so here.

To manually clear your filter, click Reset.

All selections that you make in the date picker or the filter panel remain in place when you navigate through different tabs, or if you refresh the page. However, it is cleared when you navigate away from Analytics.

All selections made on the main pages under each tab will take priority over those made on the subpages. I.e. if you change the date or update the filter when displaying the charts in the Visits tab, those selections will follow to the subpages. Conversely, if you make any changes to the date picker or the filter from the subpages, these will not be in effect if you navigate out from the subpage.
