Analytics in Waitwhile 3.0 is super flexible and designed to be customized to fit the objectives of your business. There are a number of ways in which you can accomplish this, which we cover in this article, including:

Tip: You can bookmark your own personalized views in your browser for easy access to them later! Once you have customized your your view, simply follow the steps of how to create a bookmark according to the web browser you're using:

Display settings

You have control over what charts show up in your analytics dashboard. To turn off a chart, simply follow the steps below.

  1. Click the gear icon (βš™) at the top right of the analytics page to open the Display settings panel.

  2. Locate the name of the chart you want to remove and uncheck the box.

  3. Click anywhere outside the Display settings modal to close and save.

  4. If you want to restore default values, all you have to do is click on Restore default at the bottom of the list.

Note: If you do not use certain features of Waitwhile, some charts may be turned off by default. To restore the default settings, click the Restore default button at the bottom of the panel.

Filters and date range picker

With the filtering function, you can easily customize the graphs and reports based on your preferences. Perhaps you only want to see analytics from certain locations, visits with a specific type of service, or visits related to a particular resource.

  1. Use the Date range picker at the top to change the time range for the analytics charts. This time range will be used for all charts. Note that currently the data in the new analytics dashboard starts from January 1, 2023 onward.

  2. The funnel icon at the top right corner of the page will open up the Filter analytics panel. From here you can:

    • Change or select multiple locations.

    • Filter the source of visits.

    • Filter to specific resources (from the location you're currently at).

    • Filter to specific services (from the location you're currently at).

  3. All filters selected in step 2 will show up as pills at the top of the dashboard where you also can click the β€œx” to quickly remove the filters.

Drop-down lists in charts

For many of the charts, you can tailor them further by using the Metric and/or Breakdown drop-down lists in the top right corner.

In the example above, the graph can look at multiple different metrics, including Total Visits, Bookings, Waitlisted Parties, Waitlisted Bookings, Drop-off, and more. Additionally, you can in this case choose to break the metrics down by either Creator (who created the visit) or Source (where the visit was created).

Note: Your Display settings will remain in effect until you choose to change them again. However, any changes you make to the date range picker and chart drop-down lists will only be applied for the duration of your session. After the session ends, the default settings will go into place again.
