Waitwhile provides several unique URLs that serve different purposes, helping businesses and customers navigate the platform efficiently. Below is an overview of the different Waitwhile URLs and their functions.
Registration links
Registration links are URLs that allow customers to sign up for a waitlist or book an appointment without needing to navigate through a website manually. These links streamline the queuing and booking process, improving customer convenience and reducing staff workload.
Under Location settings > Customer Journey > Registration you can find all links related to customer registration through the public pages:
Registration link - Directs customer to your general registration flow
Waitwhile only registration link – Directs customers to join a waitlist.
Booking only registration link – Allows customers to book an appointment for a specific service.
Kiosk links – Links to the above registration flows, but built specifically for a on premise kiosk.

Arrival links
Arrival links are URLs that customers use to check-in or notify staff of their arrival for an appointment or waitlist entry. These links help businesses streamline the check-in process.
Under Location settings > Customer Journey > Arrival you can find all links where the customer can check themselves in, either through Web or Kiosk.
Display links
Display links refer to URLs that businesses can use to share key pages with customers. These links make it easy to direct users to specific Waitwhile features without requiring manual navigation.
Waitlist display - The waitlist display shows customers the current line and their position in the queue, which is ideal for keeping customers informed and reducing anxiety about wait times.
Serving display - The Serving Display is perfect for businesses want to show the name or ticket number of the customers currently being served.
Account links
Account links are URLs that provide access to multiple locations within your Waitwhile account. These links are used as your location directory or to display multiple waitlists.
Location directory - The location directory in Waitwhile is a powerful tool for businesses with multiple locations, allowing customers to easily browse, select, and interact with their preferred branch or service point from one convenient page.
Account waitlist display - Account waitlist display shows customers the current line and their position in the queue for multiple locations within your Waitwhile account.
How to edit your links
Waitwhile allows limited customization of your public links. By default, Waitwhile will used the Location's short name to generate your public links.
To change a single Location public links:
Under Location short name you can append the default shortname
Click Save
Warning: Short names must be 4 - 20 alphanumeric characters and cannot already be used by another location within your account or other accounts.
To change a Account public links:
Under Business short name you can append the default shortname
Click Save
