Your Account Settings in Waitwhile are where you manage global preferences that apply across all locations and users in your account. From updating your company info to managing your billing details and security settings, this is your control center for account-wide configuration.
How to Access Account Settings
To open your account settings:
Click your profile avatar in the lower-left corner of the dashboard
Select Account Overview from the dropdown menu
Select Account Settings from the navigation menu
From here, you’ll see several tabs that help you manage key aspects of your Waitwhile account.
1. General
Business information: Manage the business’s details such as the business name, short-name and business type.
Plan & Billing: Through the section you can upgrade/downgrade the plan, adjust the SMS Auto-Refill, view invoices and billing details and also cancel your plan and delete your Waitwhile account.
Roles & Permissions: In Waitwhile, user roles and permissions help you manage who has access to various features, settings, and customer data within your account. By assigning roles based on team members' responsibilities, you can maintain control and security while ensuring each person has the tools they need. You can also create a Custom role and compare roles.
Public pages: You can view your location directory where customers can pick the location they want if you have multiple ones, have a waitlist overview, have access to custom stylesheets (CSS) and play around with your custom design.
Note: Custom Stylesheets (CSS) are only available on our Enterprise plans.
Link Shortening: Automatically shorten URLs in your messages to reduce SMS length, improve readability, and lower your messaging costs. You can shorten all links or shorten Waitwhile links only. All shortened links will begin with https://wait.app

Display settings: You can now change your display settings for both your calendar and visits page. You can alter the start and end hour that is displayed on your calendar page and choose how you want your resources to be sorted.
2. Integrations

Webhooks: You can send Waitwhile events straight to your server through our flexible URL endpoints. Read the documentation.
3. Operations
Resources: Create and manage new and existing resources across all locations within an account.
Services: Create and manage new and existing services across all locations within an account.
4. Security
Inactivity log-out: In Waitwhile you can set how long the logged in session will be live before being automatically logged out if no activity is performed.
Single sign-in on: Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a security standard for logging into applications. In that section you can set up SAML-based single sign-on (SSO) that gives users access to Waitwhile through an identity provider (IDP) of your choice. It can only be cativated by your Customer Success Manager.
Anonymize customer history: Waitwhile supports anonymizing your customer data by removing all PII (Personally Identifiable Information). This includes names, phone numbers, emails, addresses and more. The PII information will be available for the customer for as long as they are on your waitlist or have an active booking but will be permanently wiped once they have been served or removed from it.
IP safelist: Restrict Waitwhile to only devices on your IP range are allowed to access your Waitwhile account .
