What Account overview is in the Waitwhile platform

Account overview is an added hierarchical layer in the Waitwhile platform, which makes it possible to manage all locations neatly in one place. As a matter of fact, you can set up and run thousands of locations in one Waitwhile account, if you wish to do so.

Since Account overview is restricted to users with the roles and permission sets of Owner or Admin (or if you have included it in any custom roles), it provides clearer differentiation between Admin and Staff experiences and better role-based access to different parts of the product. This means that staff members won't be overwhelmed by irrelevant features while managers and admins can access content and features that are necessary for them.

Note: While all Waitwhile plan types have access to Account overview, there are certain pages and features that are available only to higher tier plans. See more below.

Navigating to and from Account overview

To access Account overview, find your profile picture or initials at the bottom left of the screen. Click on your profile to open the menu, then select Account overview from the list.

When entering the Account overview, you land on the Locations page. For more information on this, see Locations page overview. To navigate back to the location level, click on any location in the list on the Locations page.

From Account overview, you have access to a completely different set of pages compared to when you're on a location. Accessibility differs a bit between our free and paid plans.

All plans have access to the Locations page.

Enterprise plans have access to the Labels feature.

Analytics

Data and insights on everything important to your business. Learn more in Waitwhile analytics explained.

Starter plan customers have access to the Overview tab. Business and Enterprise have access to all tabs.

Reports

Run or schedule custom reports and automatically share with your teams. Learn more in Reports overview.

Reports is an add-on feature available for Enterprise plan customers.

Users

Invite and view current users across all locations, assign roles and locations, and perform bulk actions. Learn more in Users page overview.

All plans have access to the Users page.

Account settings

Update your Plan and billing details, create new roles for your users and go through the Security section for your business. Learn more at Account settings overview.

All plans have access to the Account settings page.

Your account settings are live in Account overview as well, including business details, API/webhooks configurations, roles and permissions, security, and billing settings, as well as services and resources.
