The all-new Visits page offers a best-in-class user experience, including improved and intuitive navigation with tabs across the top of the page.

Depending on your business setup, you can see up to six different tabs:

  • The Overview tab provides an overview of all today's visits.

  • The Needs approval tab contains bookings that need approval.

  • The Booking tab includes all your bookings.

  • The Waitlist tab displays all guests currently on the waitlist.

  • The Serving tab shows all guests currently being served.

  • The Completed tab is a collection of all served, no-showed, and canceled visits.

Let's dive deeper into each of them.

The Overview tab

In the Overview tab, you'll find all your visits for the day at hand. It can be viewed as a board view (as seen in the picture below) or as a table view. You can also decide what information you'd like shown for each visit to make sure you're well prepared. To learn more about how the Visits page can be visualized and personalized, check this article out.

The Overview tab is visible to all businesses regardless of their setup and it is designed to help frontline staff or employees easily manage all today's visits in one place. You can quickly perform actions on different visits by dragging one visit card from one state to another, using action buttons, or clicking on a visit to learn more about it. Read more about managing visits here.

The Needs approval tab

In the Needs approval tab, you get more granular access to booking requests that require your approval before becoming an actual booking. It is visible to businesses that utilize the Booking approval feature (read more about it here).

You will also notice a multi-select feature that gives you the ability to perform a certain action on all or more than one request at a time. Simply click on the checkbox, select the appropriate visits, and choose to either Approve, Reject, or Message them.

The Booking tab

The Booking tab is visible to business that have bookings turned on and here you get in-depth access to all your bookings or appointments. The default view includes bookings starting from today, but this filter can be removed by clicking on the X on the Date range chip.

You can use the multi-select feature to Serve, Alert, mark as No show, or Delete multiple visits at a time.

The Waitlist tab

In the Waitlist tab, you can more closely manage all your walk-ins or waitlisted visitors. It is visible to all businesses that have enabled the waitlist and lets you easily move around and update all waitlisted guests.

You can easily move guests around in the waitlist with drag and drop, and perform other actions either by clicking on the visit itself or using the action buttons. As mentioned above, you can read all about managing your visits here.

The Serving tab

In the Serving tab, you can see all guests that are currently being served by your team. You are also able to see more detailed information on each visit, including when they were served and how long they've been served, in addition to a number of other things, depending on what your Display settings look like.

If you are using our Capacity management feature, this is where you'll be able to see and manage it.

Tip: If your business isn't utilizing the Serving state, you can bypass it from the Overview tab by dragging the visit card straight to Completed.

The Completed tab

Lastly, the Completed tab is where all your visits end up once they have been Served, Canceled, or marked as No show.

If for any reason a visit ended up being completed by mistake, you can restore it by clicking on next to the visit and then choose move. Please note that you cannot restore a completed visit to the Booking state.

Tip: You can rename all the tabs on the Visits page, except for Overview and Completed. To do so, simply go to Settings > Styling > Localization and change the names under Business terms.
