We want to make it easy for you to quickly understand how your business is doing, based on a few key metrics. This is why we've introduced the Analytics overview. You'll see it at the very top of your Analytics page.

Here, you'll see a number of KPIs to help you get a quick understanding of how your business is managing its customer flows for the set time period. Each card you see in the Overview has a main metric (the bolded number), a sub metric (the smaller text below), and a trend indicator (next to the main metric). The trend indicator shows the change in performance in the main metric from the previous period and is therefore only visible if there is enough data to compare.

Let's unpack each main metric.

  • Bookings: The number of parties that have scheduled appointments for the dates selected. If they were a booking that later turned into waitlisted, they are counted here (not under Waitlisted parties).

    • Bookings drop-off rate: The percentage of bookings that did not get served because they cancelled or were no-shows.

  • Waitlisted parties: The number of parties that were placed in the waitlist for the dates selected. Waitlisted bookings are excluded from this number and instead counted under Bookings.

    • Total people: The number of people (not parties) that were placed in the waitlist for the dates selected. Waitlisted bookings are excluded from this number but counted under Bookings.

    • Avg. party size: The average party size for all visits within the dates selected.

  • Served parties: The total number of parties that were served in the time frame selected. This include bookings, waitlisted, and directly served parties.

    • Serve ratio: The percentage of visits that were served in the time range selected. While it is not common, this can be greater than 100% if enough of the served visits originally registered outside of the time window selected.

  • Avg. wait times: The average amount of time the parties were in the waitlist before being moved to the serve list.

    • Longest wait time: The longest a single party was in the waitlist before being moved to the serve list.

  • Drop-off rate: The percentage of registered visits that cancelled or were no-shows.

    • Total drop-offs: The total number of registered visits that cancelled or were no-shows.

  • Messages: The total number of sent and received messages to guests and users. All channels (email, sms, chat) regardless of delivered state.

    • Avg messages per visit: The average number of messages sent and received by a single party.

Note: You will only see cards related to your business. E.g., if you have chosen not to use Bookings, you won't see the bookings card (or any other Bookings visualizations).

Tip: You can choose not to display any of the cards in your Display settings. Read all about that here.
