How to configure your Booking display settings
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to configure your booking display settings:
Step 1: Access the Booking Display Settings
Log into your Waitwhile account
Go to Settings: Click on the Settings menu located on the left-hand sidebar.
Select the Bookings Tab: Once in the Settings menu, select the Bookings tab to access all configuration options related to your booking system.
Step 2: Control Displayed Information
Display time in customer's time zone: Enable this feature if you want the calendar page will display times in the customer's local time zone. This feature is often used when you offer virtual services such as online tutoring or virtual shopping appointments.
Display only today's date: Enable this feature if you want to only offer bookings for today. This feature is often used when offering same-day-services, such as a walk-in clinic, urgent care, or a restaurant that offers same-day reservations. In these scenarios, the focus is on filling available slots for the current day, and customers are generally looking for immediate availability rather than scheduling far in advance.
Jump to first available date: Enable this feature when you want to display the first available date where there are available booking spots.
Show available spots: Enable this feature if you want to show the amount of available spots per time slot. This feature is often used for a fitness class or group event with limited capacity, such as a yoga session, cooking class, or tour. In these cases, showing how many spots are left can encourage customers to book quickly if availability is low, creating a sense of urgency.
Show notice if no time are available within 30 days: Enable this feature if you want to help guide customers by notifying them if no times are available within the next 30 days
Step 3: Preview and Test Your Booking Page
Once you’ve configured your booking display settings, it’s a good idea to preview your page and test the booking process:
Preview: Verify how your booking page will appear to customers. Check for clarity, ease of navigation, and alignment with your brand.
Test Bookings: Run a few test bookings from a customer’s perspective to ensure everything functions correctly, from choosing services to receiving confirmation emails.
