Capacity Management in Waitwhile helps you control and optimize the number of customers that can be served at any given time. This ensures that you’re managing your resources effectively and avoiding overcrowding or overwhelming your staff. With flexible settings, you can easily set and adjust capacity limits to suit your business needs.
Benefits of Capacity Management
Improved Customer Experience: Avoid long wait times and overcrowding by controlling how many customers can be served at once.
Staff Efficiency: Help your team work at a manageable pace, preventing burnout during busy hours.
Resource Allocation: Ensure you have enough resources, like staff or space, available to serve the number of customers at any given time.
Enabling Capacity limit and Quick serve widget
You can enable the Quick serve widget to help staff members add or remove visits by a click of the + or - button in the Serving queue. You can also define the maximum number of visits you wish to have on your serving queue.
Note: The Quick serve widget and the Capacity limit can be set up separately, you don't need to enable both for them to work. This could be useful in case you want to have a max limit in the serving queue, but you don't want the staff to be able to add anonymous visits.
To start using these features for your business, follow these steps:
