The Status Page is a dedicated webpage where customers can check their status in line, view estimated wait times, and receive updates about their appointment or service. This page provides a transparent view of the waiting process, helping manage customer expectations and reducing the need for staff to answer status-related questions.

Waitwhile's Messaging feature allows businesses to communicate directly with customers who are waiting in line. The Status Page Messages allow customers to view a summary of all messages that have been sent & received related to their upcoming visit.

Status page messaging for Customers

From the Status page messages area, customers can view a summary of both email, SMS, and chat messages related to a specific visit. This includes all message types:

  • Automated

  • Triggered

  • Custom

Customers can also use this feature to communicate back with the staff at the business location if 2-way communication is enabled for the location. Go to Location settings > Customer messages > Customer message options to review whether or not you have Allow customer to reply to messages enabled.

Warning: Chat messages are currently charged as SMS messages and will reduce your available Message Credit.
