Resource Hours in Waitwhile refers to the specific times when a resource—such as a staff member, room, or piece of equipment—is available for scheduling. These hours ensure that appointments, bookings, or services are only offered during the active working times of the resource, preventing scheduling conflicts or overbooking.
How to set Resource hours & availability
Access Resource Hours
Each resource can be made available during all or just some of your Location hours. To set or edit a Resources hours go to Location settings > Location > Resources and the click the 3 dots menu next to the Resource you want to edit.
Set Resource Hours
Update the weekly hours which will override any location hours where this particular resource would not be available.
Set hours by date
If your Resource has custom hours for a specific period of time, consider adjusting these hours by setting their Hours by Date. These Hours by Date will override their set working hours for the specified date range.
Set General, Booking, and Waitlist Hours
You can establish separate hours for your Bookings & Waitlist or you can have them be the same as your general hours.
Save
click save to saved the schedule and proceed to the next Resource.
Additional settings for Resource availability
Within the Resource modal, you can configure several additional settings that may help limit or extend your Resource availability
Max simultaneous served visits: Some Resources are able to serve more than one customer at a time, you can adjust this here. The default value is set to 1.
Bookings limit per day: Set the limit to how many Bookings your Resource can service per day.
Warning : When setting or updating Resource availability, remember a Resource can be shared between multiple Locations, so check your configurations carefully to ensure that you are not changing availability for another location.
