Scheduling a report is a quick and efficient way to receive and distribute continuous updates on how your business is doing.

Note: We recommend running a report first to make sure it produces the data you need. You can then set the run report on a schedule.

Steps to schedule a report

  1. From your Account page, navigate to Reports.

  2. Click New report in the top right corner or select a report you want to schedule from the report history in the history tab.

  3. Once you have filled out the report fields (see Building a report), click Schedule report.

  4. Fill out the Schedule report form fields:

    1. Schedule name (required): Give your report schedule a name so you can easily locate it later. This name will show up in your report file name.

    2. Schedule description (optional): Add a description to the report schedule to help provide more detail about the report.

    3. Report cadence (required): Set the frequency you would like the report to be sent. If you select Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly, additional information will be requested to specify exactly when to send the report within the selected window.

    4. Schedule start date (optional): If you want the schedule to start at a future date, select that day in the date picker. If left blank, the report schedule will trigger at the soonest respective cadence.

    5. Schedule end date (optional): If you want the schedule to end after a specific date, select that day in the date picker. If left blank, the report will continue to run indefinitely for the configured cadence.

  5. Click Save & Schedule. Upon scheduling, you will be redirected to the tab of scheduled reports, and your new schedule will be added to the top of the list.

  6. At the next triggered cadence time, your schedule will generate a report and show up in the history tab. You will also get an email when each report runs when you click and fill out the Email to section of the report form.
