Scheduling a report is a quick and efficient way to receive and distribute continuous updates on how your business is doing.

Note: We recommend running a report first to make sure it produces the data you need. You can then set the run report on a schedule.

Steps to schedule a report

  • From your Account page, navigate to Reports.

  • Click + Create new (or select an existing report from your Report History that you wish to automate).

  • Choose your report path (From a Template or Build your own) and fill out the required fields (Name, Date Range, Locations, Metrics, etc.).

Important: Scroll down to Advanced selections and fill out the Email to field. Adding email addresses here ensures that the relevant stakeholders are notified and receive the data as soon as the scheduled report is generated.

  • Once your report is configured, click Schedule report at the top right (located next to the Run report button).

Filling out the Schedule form

When the "Schedule report" modal appears, fill out the following fields:

  • Schedule name (Required): Give your schedule a name. This name will also be used for the generated report files.

  • Description (Optional): Add a brief summary of what this report covers or who it is for.

  • Schedule start date (Optional): Select a future date if you don't want the automation to begin immediately.

  • Schedule end date (Optional): Select a date for the automation to stop. If left blank, the report will run indefinitely.

  • Report cadence (Required): Choose how often the report should run (e.g., Daily, Weekly, Monthly).

Note: Selecting Weekly or Monthly will prompt you for a specific day or date.

Once finished, click Finish and schedule. You will be redirected to the Scheduled Reports tab, where your new automation will be active.

Managing your scheduled reports

  • Tracking History: Every triggered report will appear in your Report History tab once it reaches "Completed" status.

  • Email Delivery: Recipients listed in the "Email to" field will receive an automated email with a download link each time the report runs.

  • Modifying Schedules: You can view, edit, or delete your active automations at any time from the Scheduled Reports tab.
