Waitwhile 3.0 is the new generation of Waitwhile. It’s blazingly fast, with a sleek new interface that makes managing your customer flows easier than ever. This article will explain how you can get started in no time.
How do I get access to Waitwhile 3.0?
It’s very safe to try Waitwhile 3.0 out and only switch entirely over when you and your team feel good about the changes. We are doing a partial rollout over the 2023 summer months and are continuously giving more and more companies access to try it.
Access Waitwhile 3.0 with an invite
If you have received an email inviting you to try Waitwhile 3.0, the process is very straightforward. Here's how it works:
When you've been flagged for access to Waitwhile 3.0, you will see a rocket icon in your sidebar. Simply click on it and you will be presented with an option to start using it.
Clicking on the "Try it out" button will take you to Waitwhile 3.0. Here, you will be met by a welcome tour, guiding you through the all-new Visits page. You will also notice that the URL has changed from app.waitwhile.com to new.waitwhile.com. This means that you can easily switch back and forth between the old and the new platform as you please. All data will be saved and your customer experience will remain intact.
If you miss the tour or would like to set Waitwhile 3.0 as your default platform, just click on the rocket icon again when your'e in Waitwhile 3.0 and those options will be available to you.
When you make it default, Waitwhile will automatically redirect from app.waitwhile.com to new.waitwhile.com without you having to do anything!
Please note that all users on your account will see the upgrade so make sure to communicate the change accordingly. Also, only users with OWNER or ADMIN permissions will be able to set Waitwhile 3.0 as default.

Access Waitwhile 3.0 without an invite
If you have not yet received an email with an invite to try Waitwhile 3.0, you can still take it for a test drive. Here’s how it works:
Go to new.waitwhile.com and log in with your Waitwhile credentials as you normally would. All your guests and locations are available both in the new version and the old/current version, so you can use whichever version you prefer.

How do we go back to old Waitwhile from Waitwhile 3.0?
If you have tried Waitwhile 3.0 but don't feel like making the switch just yet, that's all good. If you have not yet set Waitwhile 3.0 as default, there is no action required from your end. Simply go back to using app.waitwhile.com to log in, and you'll be set. You can also use the button as shown in the picture below.
