When will I need to migrate to a new pricing plan?

  • If you are on a Starter/Business Monthly plan with less than 10 active locations on your account, you can stay on your current plan until Nov. 10, 2023.

  • If you are on a Starter/Business Annual plan with less than 10 active locations on your account, you can stay on your current plan until your 2nd annual renewal

What about the pricing has changed?

  • Over the last five years, Waitwhile has grown to provide more functionality and value to help businesses create better guest experiences. The one thing that hasn’t changed over this time is price. The changes that have been made more accurately reflect the value that our platform brings to our customers. These new plans bring more flexibility to customers large and small, by introducing location-based pricing on our Business plan, and a cheaper Starter Annual entry point at $23/mo.

Will we lose any of our plan features before we select a new plan?

  • Nothing about your current plan will change (price, features, etc.) until you select your new plan.

Can you explain how the SMS credit will work?

Does my plan automatically switch?

Does the business plan require 4 locations?

  • The Business Plan starts with a minimum of 4 locations and allows you to increase your volume of monthly visits and the number of active locations beyond what is available on the Starter Plan.

  • You do not have to utilize all 4 locations on your account, but they are available by default with your plan

What plan am I on now?

  • Go to Settings > Billing and you will see your plan type at the top of the page along with details on how many visits you have

Do I have enough SMS Credit to cover the number of messages per visit on my account?

  • The SMS credit is enough to accommodate an average of 3 SMS/visit each month in the US or Canada. Note that there’s no limit on the number of SMS you can exchange with any individual customer (until your SMS credit has been fully utilized).

  • Note that international SMS pricing is typically more expensive than in the US. Check out https://www.twilio.com/sms/pricing for SMS pricing in your country.

Can I keep my current plan type and rates?

  • If you are on a Starter/Business Monthly plan with less than 10 active locations on your account, you can stay on your current plan until Nov. 10, 2023.

  • If you are on a Starter/Business Annual plan with less than active 10 locations on your account, you can stay on your current plan until your 2nd annual renewal.

If we change our plan in the middle of the month will the price be adjusted automatically?

  • When upgrading from a free to paid plan, you will pay the full price up front. Your "month" starts when you upgrade, so you get a full month from the date that you upgrade. Each account is on its own cycle which is not synced or tied to the months of the calendar.

  • In general, the price will be prorated. If you upgrade to a more expensive plan, then you will only pay the higher price for what is remaining of the billing period (month/year).

  • If you downgrade to a less expensive plan, then your account will be credited and this credit will be applied to the next invoice, so your next payment will be less.

Do we need to do anything to lock in our current pricing for the year before the increase or is that automatic?

  • No action needed to remain on your current plan.
