Below is a overview of the different public links you can use to allow customer to join a waitlist, book an appointment, or view their place in line from a public display.
To access the public location links
click on the in the lower left of the Waitwhile dashboard.
Registration links
Registration refers to the process by which a customer provides their details and joins a queue, books an appointment, or signs up for a service.
Link for general registration: Waitwhile generates a unique URL for each business's online registration page. This link can be shared widely, allowing customers to access the registration or booking page from any location. Depending on your registration configurations, this link may include options to join the waitlist, book an appointment, or both.
Direct link for waitlist registration: This URL is unique to the waitlist only. It will allow you to separate your waitlist registrations from your booking options. Often times it is used for onsite signage in a location where you only want to offer walk-ins.
Direct link for booking registration: This URL is unique to the bookings only. It will allow you to separate your booking registrations from your waitlist registrations. Often times it is used for on business website where you want to offer appointments, but not allow customers to join the waitlist unless they are physically at the location.
For in-location kiosks, Waitwhile provides dedicated URLs for the kiosk interface, allowing customers to access a tailored experience optimized for tablet or kiosk screens. This URL is ideal for on-site registration where customers can self-register without needing direct assistance from staff. Depending on your business needs, you can configure your on premise kiosk for registration, waitlist registration, and booking registration.
Public display links
Public displays are digital screens that show real-time information about the queue, providing customers with updates on their wait status, estimated wait times, or place in line.
Public display link for waitlist: A unique URL to display the list of customers waiting.
Public display link for serving list: A unique URL to display the list of customers currently being served.
Arrival links
Waitwhile offers features that let businesses track when customers arrive at a location, notify staff, and manage the flow of service seamlessly. Waitwhile offers specific links tailored to different arrival scenarios.
Registration link: Include a check-in from your registration URL, by enabling "Allow arrivals from your registration flow.
Check-in link: Offer customers a designated URL for check-in upon arrival. The check-in process will use specific customer information to match their appointment or spot in line and mark them as arrived.
