[New Settings] Service Hours and Availability

Configure they availability of specific services during your normal business hours.

Each service can be made available during all or just some of your Location hours. If Services are available during all of your Location hours then you do not need to set specific Service hours. However, if you want to limit services during specific times of the day, then this guide will provide you with instructions on how to configure your hours for each service.

How to set Service hours & availability

  1. Access Service Hours

    Go to Location settings > Location > Services and the click the 3 dots next to the Service you wish to edit and select Custom hours under Availability

  2. Set working hours:

    By setting the Working Hours you can ensure that they won't be available to select outside of these hours. These hours can be set differently between Bookings, Waitlist or both depending on which the Service is available to.

  3. Set hours by date:

    If your Services has custom hours for a specific period of time, consider adjusting these hours by setting their Hours by Date. These Hours by Date will override their set working hours for the specified date range.

  4. Set hours for General, Bookings, and Waitlist

    You can set up the same hours for bookings and waitlisted visits. To achieve this, set up the General hours and leave Same as General hours checked under the Waitlist hours and Booking hours tabs.

    If you would like the Service to have different availability hours for the bookings and the waitlist queue, uncheck this option and set up the desired hours for each day of the week separately.

  5. Save

    click save to saved the schedule and proceed to the next Resource.

Pro Tip: If a Service is available only for a couple of days in the entire year (e.g.: a service for an event), leave all the days under 'Weekdays' closed, and only open the necessary days under 'Dates'. If you need to set up specific hours for several consecutive days, select the first day of this period and then click the calendar icon to add more dates.

Additional settings for Service availability

Within the Service modal, you can configure several additional settings that may help limit or extend your Resource availability

  • Max bookings per day: The number in this field defines how many appointments can be booked for one day with this service.

Warning : When setting or updating Service availability, remember a Service can be shared between multiple Locations, so check your configurations carefully to ensure that you are not changing availability for another location.
