Waitwhile accessibility & ADA compliance

Learn more about Waitwhile's accessibility features, including ADA compliance and WCAG conformity

Written by Lindsey Gagnon

We want every guest to be able to use Waitwhile, whatever their abilities.

Our standard

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, for the pages your guests use, like booking, waitlist and status pages. WCAG is the standard the U.S. Department of Justice points to for web accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Accessibility is ongoing work. We keep testing and improving as the product changes. Businesses can customise their pages, and those choices can affect accessibility.

How we keep Waitwhile accessible

We check accessibility as we design, test changes automatically, and audit the product with assistive technology such as screen readers.

Report an issue

Conformance report (VPAT)

Enterprise customers can ask for our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT) through compliance@waitwhile.com or their account manager. Enterprise contracts can also include specific accessibility commitments.
