Occasionally, you may run into an error message while using Waitwhile. This guide breaks down the most common errors, explains why they happen, and walks you through simple steps to fix them so you can keep your business running smoothly without interruptions.

1. Visit & booking errors

Visit not found

The visit ID doesn’t exist.

Check the ID or contact support.

Only existing customers can book

This location only books returning customers.

Log in or ask the location for access.

Already booked

You’ve reached the booking limit.

Cancel/complete an existing booking first.

No available spots

The selected time is full.

Choose another time or adjust duration.

Visit quota exceeded

You’ve reached the visit limit.

Wait or contact the location.

Visit must be draft

The visit isn’t in draft status.

Change status to draft to proceed.

Visit missing required services

Required services not selected.

Add at least one from each required category.

Visit missing required resources

Required resources not selected.

Add at least one from each required category.

Visit waitlist not allowed

Only existing customers can join this waitlist.

Log in or contact the location.

Customer already waitlisted

You’re already on the waitlist.

No action needed unless you want to cancel.

No available spots for resource

Resource is fully booked at that time.

Pick another time or resource.

Service ID invalid

The selected service is unavailable.

Choose another service or try again later.

Service not supported by resource(s)

Selected service can’t be provided by chosen resource(s).

Select a different service or resource.

Service not supported by any resource

No resource can provide the selected service.

Choose a different service.

2. Location & waitlist errors

Location ID is invalid.

Check the link or ID.

Location inactive

Location is closed or disabled.

Try again later.

Location too busy

Location is at capacity.

Wait and try again.

Waitlist not public

Waitlist is private.

Contact the location.

Bookings not public

Booking page is private.

Contact the location.

Waitlist closed

Location isn’t accepting new waitlist entries.

Try again later.

3. Account & Authentication Errors

Unauthorized / Customer not allowed

You don’t have permission.

Log in or request access.

Insufficient scope

Your account lacks required permissions.

Contact admin or support.

Action requires reauthentication

Security check required.

Log out and log back in.

Missing authentication

You’re not logged in.

Sign in and try again.

Account not found

Account ID doesn’t exist.

Check the ID.

Account disabled

Account is deactivated.

Contact support.

Account migrated

Account moved to a different region.

Use the correct region to log in.

Short name not available

The chosen short name is taken.

Pick another.
