What’s the news?

Waitwhile has been acquired by Allegion plc, a $3.8B global leader in security and access solutions. We’ll continue to operate as a standalone brand and team, but with more resources and backing to grow and improve our product. Waitwhile and Allegion are highly aligned on creating exceptional customer experiences.

Why Allegion?

Allegion (NYSE: ALLE) is a public, leading global security products and solutions provider specializing in security around the doorway and beyond, keeping people safe and secure where they live, learn, work and connect.

Our companies share a vision of creating a safer and more accessible world. With Allegion’s support, we can invest more in product, AI, design, integrations, and support to take Waitwhile to the next level for you as our customer.

We're joining Allegion, but Waitwhile remains a standalone brand and team within their portfolio. This is not a merger or rebrand. We will continue running our product, culture, and roadmap, just with more support, resources, and reach.

What changes for me as a customer?

Nothing changes. Your product, plan, contract, and support all stay the same. You’ll still use Waitwhile the same way you do today, with the same team behind it.

Over time, we’ll be able to access more resources to invest in product development, security, and support, while expanding the value we can bring you.

Will there be changes to my plan or pricing?

No. All contracts, pricing tiers, SLAs, and support remain as they are. If anything changes in the future, we’ll communicate well in advance.

Will Waitwhile still innovate?

Yes — and faster. With Allegion’s support, we can invest more in product, AI, design, integrations, and support. Our roadmap is still led by the Waitwhile team.

Will the team change?

No. Our founders and team are staying on, and we’re continuing to hire. We’ll keep the same structure, tools, and processes you’re used to.

Will the Waitwhile brand go away?

No. We’re keeping our name, brand, and roadmap. Allegion wants us to keep doing what’s working, just with more support behind the scenes.

Will Waitwhile still be a standalone team?

Yes, Waitwhile will continue to operate as a standalone brand within the Allegion portfolio. This is how the other 30+ Allegion brands also operate and it’s in their DNA to let each brand innovate, ultimately offering customers a broad portfolio of products, services and solutions to meet their needs.

Will I still have the same support contacts?

Yes. You’ll continue to work with your existing account manager, CSM, or support team. No changes to how you get help.

Will the Waitwhile infrastructure or IT change?

No. Waitwhile’s IT Infrastructure will remain the same. If future changes are planned, this will be notified well ahead of time.

We will continue to operate our US and EU data regions as currently - and plan to introduce more data regions in the future.

Will data privacy or compliance change?

No. We continue to follow all current privacy and security standards (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Allegion supports this commitment.

Will Waitwhile now share data with Allegion?

No. Waitwhile never share any data with 3rd-parties outside of our published sub-processor list specified by our data processing addendum (DPA). We will announce any future changes to our data sharing to our customers, but none are currently planned.

Will Waitwhile still work for small teams?

Yes. We’re still committed to both enterprise and self-serve users. Our free and affordable plans stay in place.

What about integrations (Zapier, Salesforce, etc.)?

All current integrations will stay live. We’ll keep building new ones based on customer needs, just as we’ve always done.

Will anything change with billing?

Not for now. Your billing process stays the same. If there are updates later, we’ll notify you with plenty of time.
