What Is the Message Credit Usage Report?
The Message Credit Usage Report shows you:
Total message credits used during a selected date range
Breakdown of usage by location (if applicable)
Number of messages sent
Average message length (in segments)
Message cost
This report is perfect for reviewing historical usage, forecasting future credit needs, and ensuring your message budget aligns with your business activity.
How to Access and Pull the Report
Log in to your Waitwhile Account
Go to waitwhile.com and sign in.
Navigate to Account Overview
Click the Usage Report
Select your preferred date range and click Download CSV. This will populate an exported .csv file for your viewing.
Using the Report to Estimate Costs
Once you have your report, you can estimate your SMS costs using the total message credits used and your current cost per message credit.
Example:
Total credits used last month: 8,500
Your SMS credit rate: $0.02 per message credit
Estimated cost: 8,500 Γ $0.02 = $170
This can help you plan your next message credit purchase and forecast expenses for high-traffic periods.
