The location directory in Waitwhile is a powerful tool for businesses with multiple locations, allowing customers to easily browse, select, and interact with their preferred branch or service point from one convenient page. Setting up a location directory can streamline the customer experience, reduce wait times, and improve overall service efficiency.

This article will guide you through the process of setting up and customizing your location directory in Waitwhile.

Access the Location directory settings

  • Log into your Waitwhile account.

  • From the main dashboard, navigate to your User Profile and select Account Overview.

  • Choose Account settings and navigate to Public pages.

  • Select Location directory to begin customizing your directory settings

Customize the Location directory settings

  • Pick Service before location: Waitwhile offers two different customer journey options from the Location directory.

    1. Require customers to select a service before showing available locations

    2. Required customers to select a location before picking a service offering

Note: When Require customers to select a service before showing available locations is enabled:

  • Service categories will not appear

  • All enabled services will appear regardless of the locations that are visible on the Location directory.

  • Page Header: Customize the header with a welcome message or instructions to help guide the customer through the registration process.
