Waitwhile allows you to customize your messages in multiple languages to accommodate your diverse customer base. With the platform’s localization settings, you can create message templates in various languages and have them automatically sent based on the customer’s preferred language. This ensures seamless communication regardless of where your customers are from.

Steps to enable and customize your messages in different languages:

1. Enable Localization Settings:

Note: The first language listed will be the default language shown initially when the customer enters the registration experience.

2. Set Language-Specific Message Templates:

  • Go to Settings > Customer Messages or Team Notifications.

  • Select the message type (e.g., Booking Confirmation, Waitlist Alert, or Reminder).

  • Click the Language dropdown and choose the language you want to customize.

3. Create Language-Specific Content:

  • For each selected language, edit the message content to fit the tone and phrasing appropriate for that language.

  • Use dynamic variables like {{name}}, {{date}}, or {{position}} to provide personalized information.

4. Preview & Test Messages:

  • Use the Registration URL to test the messaging to ensure the dynamic variables and formatting are correct for each language. From the registration welcome page, select the language of choice.

  • Submit the registration to send a test message to verify that it appears as expected across different languages.

5. Monitor and Adjust as Needed:

  • Regularly review message delivery to ensure translations are accurate and meaningful.

  • If you update the content of your original template, remember to update the translated versions as well.

By following these steps, you can effectively communicate with your customers in their preferred language, providing a smoother and more personalized experience.
