Enterprise Plans:

  • Registration is mandatory with the Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry (SSIR)

  • Requires a business within Singapore (local unique entity number)

  • A foreign business can either register as local subsidiary or as a foreign branch office (need to have a valid UEN)

  • Non-registered Sender IDs will be overwritten by “Likely-SCAM”

Steps to Register:

  1. Waitwhile creates a new Sender ID (phone number) under a new Twilio Subaccount.

  2. Waitwhile communicates the Sender ID to the Singaporean Company (Customer).

  3. Singaporean Company (this has to be a Singapore registered company/branch, and has to have a UEN) registers Singapore Mobile Number(s) as Sender ID(s) on the SSIR portal.

  4. After registering with the SSIR, Waitwhile will send a copy of your proof of registration and Company's Unique Entity Number (UEN) to provide to Twilio via application form.

Singaporean Company must provide the following to Waitwhile:

  1. Proof of registration with SSIR

  2. Singapore UEN used to register the Alphanumeric Sender ID(s) with SGNIC

  3. ACRA Bizfile Report showing said UEN that is no more than 3 months old

  4. Letter of Authorization (LOA) authorizing Waitwhile to use the registered sender ID to send messages on behalf of Singaporean Company. LOA must be signed by a Director named in the ACRA Bizfile Report. (see attached)

Note: The specific SIDs have to be listed and mapped to the Sender ID. It cannot be 1 SID to multiple Sender IDs.
