Adding services to your registration pages allows customers to choose the specific offerings that best suit their needs during the booking or walk-in process. This feature helps streamline their experience by presenting relevant service options upfront, ensuring smoother operations for your business.

Adding Services to your customer registration

Once services have been created, go to Settings > Services > Service options to determine how these services will be presented to your customers during the registration or booking process.

1. Enable Services

  • Check the box to turn on services

2. Select Service category display

  • Choose how you want to display your different services to your customers

Learn more about Service Categories: Managing visibility on customer registration pages

3. Multiple selection (Optional)

  • Enable this feature if you want to allow customers to have the ability to select multiple services at one time.

Warning: Only use this setting when your business:

  • offers multiple services (e.g. Manicure, Pedicure, Nail trim)

  • does not use Resources in Waitwhile or,

  • resources (staff) can serve all services (e.g Nail Technician is trained in performing all three of the above services)

  • is using Services for prequalifying questions (e.g. do you have a receipt, pick-up method, etc)

Only one (1) staff member can be assigned to a visit or booking at a time. If your resources are specialized in specific services, Waitwhile recommends having the customer book multiple appointments or visits rather than booking multiple services within a single visit.

4. Require service selection

  • Specify whether this is a required selection by customers and/or staff during the registration process.

5. Request service categories

  • Determine which categories you require a service selection from

5. Waitlist service display

  • Choose how services are displayed to customers

6. Fall back revenue per visit (Optional)

  • The fallback revenue field is used for reporting when visits or bookings do not contain any selected service with defined prices.
