In Waitwhile, there are various links unique to your business that allow you, your team, and your customers to access different parts of your Waitwhile account. We’ll give you a quick overview below.

For you and your team only

Your internal link is for you and your team only and should never be shared with customers. You can use it to access and manage your waitlist from behind the scenes. This is where you'll Serve and Alert your guests, or mark their visits as Complete.

Depending on whether you’re using Waitwhile for real-time waitlists, future appointments, or both, you’ll find it by going to Settings > Waitlist or Settings > Bookings in your account.

For your customers

The following links are public-facing and can be shared via your website, a QR code, or a text message. Your customers can use them to add themselves to your real-time waitlist, book a future appointment, or check out your view-only public waitlist.

Different ways customers can check in

  • From a Waitwhile link added to your website.

  • From a Waitwhile link added to a tablet in a lobby or a waiting area.

  • By being manually added by a member of your staff.

For multiple locations

If your business is in multiple locations, use the link that goes to all of your locations, allowing customers to choose the one they want to visit.

Welcome page

The Welcome Page is optional and can be turned on or off for each business location in your Waitwhile account. It’s designed to let your customers schedule a future appointment or join a real-time waitlist.

Customer Status Page

The customer status page is a unique temporary page that’s automatically created for each visitor who joins your virtual waitlist. When you add a {link} trigger word to your Alerts, a link enabling your customers to see real-time wait estimates is created.

You can access this link by clicking on the customer in the waitlist to display the visit details drawer, and then selecting "Show Status Page" from the three dot menu:
